デビュー作から21年。アルバムとしては8枚目の作品です。カレン・ペリスの少女のような声。彼女が弾くピアノの音色。ドン・ペリスのギター。マイク・ビッツのウッド・ベース。楽器のひとつひとつすべてが、包み込むように優しく響きます。歌詞に「雨」や「レインコート」など天気に関わる言葉が多いのは、やるせなさや切なさに満ちた、塞いだ気分を少しでも晴れやかにしたいとの願いの表れなのではないでしょうか。シンプルなうた。心に響く詞。変わることのない、イノセンス・ミッションのあたたかな歌世界。
