オーストラリアのジャズ・ピアニスト、トニー・グールドとシンガー、エマ・ギルマーティン。共演作としては２作目に当たる2010年作です。前作の後ふたりの子どもを授かったエマは、その生活の中心が、family（家族）、motherhood（母性）、そして本作のタイトルとなっているhome（家庭、帰る場所）となったことを実感。自分が子どもの頃に聞いていた「The Rainbow Connection」「You Are My Sunshine」などを今度は自ら子どもたちに歌う、その喜び、優しさが無垢な歌声に宿っています。カヴァー・センスも秀逸で、「Que Sera, Sera」など随所でふたりの才能を聴けるほか、ピアノ・ソロ曲も３曲含まれており、単なる”チルドレン・アルバム”ともまた趣を異にしたアルバムとなっています。
