オーストラリアのジャズ・ピアニスト、トニー・グールドとシンガー、エマ・ギルマーティン。ふたりの初共演作となる2002年作『Tomorrow, just you wait and see』。「明日、何が起こるか楽しみに」というタイトルには、安堵感ただよう夜を越えてゆく、そんな想いが込められているのでしょう。第二次大戦時のポピュラー・ソング04「(There'll Be Bluebirds Over) The White Cliffs of Dover」やチャップリンの名曲10「Smile」といったカヴァーの美しさ。先に取り扱いした次作『Home』同様、ピアノ・ソロ曲もあり、エマのチャーミングな歌声とともに夜を過ごすひとときを演出するしっとりと落ち着いたヴォーカル・アルバムとなっています。
